# Formula fields referencing formula fields

Hi! I have a table with a status single select field that contains 8 entries. I then created 3 more fields using the formula type to check the option chosen in the status field and populate a 1 or 0 flag based on logic. From another table I picked roll up related records and count value of but the formula fields I created in the related table are not available for selection. Is this desired behavior or am I not doing it right?
